Julalikari Council is seeking skilled, inspired applicants for Home Interaction Program for Parents and Youngsters (HIPPY) Home Tutors. The role is initially offered on a part-time, six-month contract, but is envisaged as a long-term position for the right candidate.
HIPPY Home Tutors are responsible for assisting in delivering a home-based early childhood learning program for Aboriginal families with children aged between 4 and 5 years old.
Julalikari Council Aboriginal Corporation (JCAC) is an Aboriginal community service organisation governed by Julalikari Council, an elected body representing the Aboriginal community of Tennant Creek, NT. JCAC’s constitution directs the operations of the organisation with a general strategy to alleviate poverty and improve the wellbeing of the Aboriginal community of Tennant Creek and the surrounding Barkly region.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are strongly encouraged to apply.
