The primary objective of the Community Engagement Worker is to engage and work alongside families with children 0 – 18 years of age, who need support to meet the developmental, health, safety and educational needs of their child/ren.

The Community Engagement Worker will focus on growing positive and respectful relationships between families and services, with respect for culture and local context. The workers will aim to connect with families who are vulnerable, disadvantaged and isolated. The Community Engagement Worker will be flexible and practical ensuring that services and support meet the collective needs of the families and community.

To be successful in this position you will need to be a friendly, positive, enthusiastic, self-starter who is a proven team player with the ability to relate to a diverse range of people with excellent communication and time management skills
