Julalikari Council Remote Tenancy Support Service is seeking an experienced Housing Support Officer to support the Remote Tenancy Support Service Manager with all administrative procedures and delivery of the Living Strong program.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm on Fridays.

Tasks will include:

Undertaking administrative tasks, including:

  • Assist with the delivery of the Living Strong program
  • The tracking of jobs and their completion to ensure timely reporting
  • Maintain a filing system
  • Answer phones, reply to emails and handle walk-in enquiries

Essential:

  • Open Class C Driver Licence required.
  • Good communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Good computer skills – particularly email, document templates and excel spreadsheets.
  • Case management and client service delivery experience, data collection and administration.
  • Work individually or as part of a team.
  • Working with Children clearance (Ochre Card) or ability to acquire
  • Current National Police Clearance

Desirable:

  • Demonstrated experience working in tenancy support or tenancy management
  • Cert III in Community Services or willingness to obtain
