On Wednesday 16 March Julalikari Council and Tennant Creek IGA will put on a Grand opening for the new IGA store.
This event is designed for the community to celebrate the opening of the new and refurbed grocery store after the devastating fire 20 months ago. IGA will resume trading in a more modern and spacious store creating connection to our local community.
Community members and customers will be invited to the Grand opening on Wednesday 16 March to witness and celebrate the following.

- Live broad cast (Caama) and local band
- Prizes – raffles
- Free Afternoon tea – Jajjikari smoko Truck
- Balloon animals for the kids
- Colour in comp- pre-event to announce winner at opening
- Visit from TC Police and TC Fire and Rescue
- Anyinginyi Pop up store – COVID 19 and masks
