Project Description

The Home And Community Care (HACC) program provides a range of basic maintenance and home support services to assist people to continue living independently at home for longer.

Services are aimed at aged or frail community members, and those with a disability.

HACC support is also available for carers, through the provision of day respite services.

The primary focus of HACC policy is keeping people independent, mobile, and at home, with an emphasis on quality of life.

Julalikari Aged and Disability Support Services delivers:

  • domestic assistance
  • personal care
  • transport
  • respite
  • meals
  • shopping
  • home maintenance

These services are tailored to provide a planned and managed package for people who have low to moderate care needs.

“They enjoy coming together for a yarn, watching movies,
going out on excursions, playing card games and getting
involved in
a host of other community activities.”

Julalikari Aged and Disability Services are currently providing services for 30 clients with a range of needs.
